How did Lewis Hamilton spend his week after finishing first at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix?

I don’t know how Lewis Hamilton spent his week but I can say pretty confidently that he was probably having a great time after finishing first at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix last Sunday for an all-British podium, his first win in 41 races, his first win in a Ferrari, and his third podium finish in a row this season. Also becoming the oldest F1 race winner since 1970. It was a major breakthrough for Lewis and obviously motivates him and the team even more to stay competitive.

Lewis was seen leaving Milan today after the Ralph Lauren show in an all-cream outfit, immediate destination unknown, but we do know that he will definitely have to be in Spielberg by early next week ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring where he might actually not be the main character since everyone is gossiping about Max Verstappen’s future at Red Bull and whether or not he will get out of his contract.

For now, though, Lewis has another weekend to enjoy the win, which must have been suuuch a relief, especially after last season, especially after all the questions about whether or not he still has it. Motorsport is so much more than just the driver though, which casual followers don’t quite appreciate, even if they’ve watched every season of Drive to Survive. The engineering and the mechanics of it all – it’s not just whether a race car driver is up to the challenge, so much of it rides, literally, on the ride. And that can sometimes change week to week. Right now, this week, Lewis is on top, he’s ended the drought. You can see it in the skin, so well moisturised!
