It is no surprise that longtime Knicks fan Mariska Hargitay is on the float at the Knicks Championship Parade

Captain Olivia Benson has been protecting New York for 27 years, going on 28. On this historic day in the city, of course she is there. Mariska Hargitay is not only a longtime Knicks fan, she has special status with Jalen Brunson – his #1 celebrity among all celebrities.

At this point she’s practically part of his family – and she arrived with the Brunsons today at the parade. So it’s no surprise that she and her son August were with Jalen on the float as they made their way down the Canyon of Heroes.

She already said that the Knicks’ comeback in game 4 of the finals was the “greatest night” of her life – even better than her wedding, and it was kind of a joke but, like, not really, LOL. So the fact that she’s holding the trophy, with Jalen beside her, and Jalen calling her son into the shot, on the day that NYC is celebrating the championship… I mean, look at her, she’s not lying about her level of happiness.

And she’s also extending the Taylor Swift t-shirt trend. I love that August is wearing his mother’s Knick-name. SORRY. I had to.
