The photo agency says it’s light blue. All I see is grey. I am however a little bit cross-eyed and a lot nearsighted. Maybe it is blue after all.

This is Jake Gyllenhaal in London today all dressed up for a full day of press to promote Prince of Persia. The film, going by the trailer, looks ridiculous to me. Having said that, I am not the audience. There’s a huge gaming audience that’s supposed to be invested in Prince and they apparently can’t wait. Surprisingly however Prince of Persia received a decent review from Ain’t It Cool News – click here to read it. In short, Jakey is a believable, enjoyable action star. And Prince is a satisfying summer movie. Not sure if I’m convinced. But I’ll see it. Because I like a sweaty Jakey with long hair jumping from summit to summit. I don’t like Jakey with these pants. Why do they cling so hard?

Prince of Persia opens May 28th.
