Major buzz ripping through Hollywood today that after only a year, and too many controversies to count, Rosie O’Donnell is leaving The View.

If true – damn f&cking shame.

Without Rosie, The View is boring. Without Rosie, The View becomes cookie-cutter, safe, golf claps, the MiniVan Majority, and very low on Gay Quotient.

Sigh. Sadness.

Is she crude? And obnoxious? Of course. Do I agree with her always? Of course not. But better someone who spouts off her mind than another insipid dithering fool like Barbara Walters who tries to figuratively fellate as many people as she can.

I mean imagine – when Rosie is off The View, someone like Dina Lohan will be invited onto that couch, and no one will have the nuts to tell her she’s skank ho living vicariously through her kids.
