The last time I posted about A$AP Rocky was last Friday and I was talking specifically about the Met Gala and Vogue, and how it was about time for Vogue to drop the May issue which is typically connected to the event; I also wondered how Rocky and the other three co-chairs of the Met Gala this year would factor into the issue. And now we know.

Vogue has been sharing behind-the-scenes videos throughout the day including a couple where Rocky talks about his baby photo shoots with Rihanna. He was also seen today doing a photo shoot surrounded by LV trunks in Harlem. Those photos are attached. 

 

Speaking of Harlem, Rocky is photographed for Vogue with his grandmother at her home in Harlem. She’s a cute, and she apparently loves Colman Domingo. 

Rocky also says that he stays there often – even with all the wealth he’s accumulated, and his partner is a billionaire, he supposedly sleeps in his old room, and not infrequently. It is not specified whether or not Rihanna and the kids come too. 

 

As for what Rocky and Rihanna have planned for the Met Gala, right now I just want to know when they plan to arrive, LOL. Because these two are often the last to arrive. Rihanna was late to the Oscars when she was nominated. But this year Rocky is a co-chair, and co-chairs typically show up near the beginning. Do we think Anna Wintour can get these two to be punctual? 

What else happened today…

All I’ve been hearing about in the periphery over the last few days is some mess about the audiences at The Minecraft Movie. I don’t know anything about the game, or the movie, but everyone I do know who has kids has to live with it. No one I know has kids who threw popcorn or brought a live chicken to a screening, WTF? Jack Black is trying to stop this. Not sure it’s going to help. (Pajiba)
