Lifestyle Duana Names: Everything is Ennui Dear Duana, I have a sweet yet spunky daughter named Flora. I get that some people find the name choice strange (bacteria! margarine!), but overwhelmingly, the reaction has been positive. It helps that we live close to Italy! Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: Kelly’s varsity and florals Varsity seems to be the theme today. Rihanna was doing the varsity thing earlier and now Kelly Osbourne – a varsity jacket over a floral dress, Grease styles. I’m into it. You? By Lainey • Aug 08, 2016 02:21 pm
TV Updates Supersensitive Winona Ryder Have you finished Stranger Things yet? Stranger Things is the hit of the summer. And while it’s not a perfect series, as Sarah writes in her review, it’s a compulsively watchable – and terrifying, at least for me – show that stars Winona Ryder. This is great for Winona Ryder. Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: Rihanna’s varsity dress Varsity anything. But I LOVE the way she’s wearing this oversized vest tee like it’s a dress. And the striped sports socks. And the booties? I wish the toe wasn’t pointed. But that’s just personal preference. By Lainey • Aug 08, 2016 01:38 pm
Dumbass When Scott Eastwood talks It’s exhausting. Or maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s the opposite of exhausting to be that stupid. The last time we caught up with Scott Eastwood he was narcing on other actors, in front of his dad, like the principal’s tattle-tale son, for staying in their By Lainey • Aug 08, 2016 12:55 pm

Sports Gwyneth Paltrow’s pre-Olympic cupping On Saturday in Rio, American gymnast Alex Naddour competed in the team qualification with circular marks on his arms and back. Yesterday Michael Phelps competed in the men’s 4x100 freestyle relay with similar looking marks. Movie Reviews and Previews Don’t blame the Third Best Joker As Sarah just wrote, Suicide Squad opened big this weekend despite sh-tty reviews but they’re already forecasting a possible 60% drop-off next weekend. Lifestyle Sasha Finds: Spiritual Gangster As we chatted this week on the podcast I’ve gone hippy mode – armpit hair and all, well, whatever, I tried.
