Back in February just before Valentine’s Day, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were seen having dinner together in London. At the time, their reps were apparently with them, so it was said that they were talking about potential working opportunities. And she was immediately papped with her boyfriend, Manuel Anido Cuesto a couple of days later.

Photos of Tom and Ana arriving together via helicopter in London are once again making headlines from Friday. The photo is attached to this post, and PEOPLE and Page Six have more. Apparently this was a back-to-back thing because they also were spotted at the heliport the night before.

Two days, two helicopter rides … is this a thing?

In PEOPLE’s report, Manuel isn’t mentioned, even when they refer to Tom and Ana’s Valentine’s sighting last month when Ana was seen with Manuel shortly after. Page Six mentions him but not from February, instead they refer to Ana holding hands with Manuel back in December.

What I’m trying to say is that it feels like both PEOPLE and Page Six are trying to make Tom and Ana happen. It adds value to these photos, of course, since they would have bought them from the photo agency at an exclusive premium. And obviously it’s good for gossip if Tom Cruise, one of the last movie stars of his time, who hasn’t dated publicly in years, is once again courting his type. And by “type” I mean physical, like Sofia Vergara and Penelope Cruz, but also Katie Holmes.

Tom is 62, Ana is 36. Probably isn’t surprising to anyone that Tom would be pursuing a much-younger woman, if he is indeed pursuing her. Let’s entertain the possibility, though, because, well, it’s literally been two decades since Tom Cruise actively and publicly pursued a woman.

Can you f-cking believe that Tom and Katie started 20 years ago next month?!

It was a full-scale romantic assault around the world, from Italy to Paris to Oprah’s couch. Look at them pulling up to the premiere of War of the Worlds on his motorcycle, attached at every body part.

He did not remove himself from her through the length of that entire red carpet. Because, as we know, Tom Cruise never does anything if he doesn’t do it 150%. And he generally prefers to do it with an audience.

So if he has indeed decided that Ana de Armas is the target, it ain’t gonna be subtle. And if Manuel Anido Cuesto is still in the picture? The stepson of the controversial Cuban president? How do you handle it if Mr. Hollywood Romeo is coming for your girlfriend with his full arsenal?

I know there were people at our Substack, The Squawk, who were all like, “get away from her!” But, like, for the sake of good gossip, don’t you want to see this show? Sorry, but I do. Squawk with us!  (App link here)
