Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the royals are now moving past the Thomas Markle Zone drama of the last few days and moving ahead with the big show.
Harry and Meghan left Kensington Place this afternoon. Prince Charles and Camilla also left by helicopter. And Prince William and Princess Kate are on their way as well. To Windsor. Word is that Doria Ragland, Meghan’s ma, will meet the Queen and other senior members of the royal family today. Much of Windsor is also closed off right now for the rehearsal. So, again, we’re seeing them doing what they do best: carrying on. There is no way, especially now, that it won’t be a spectacle, every detail flawless.
The fact that the whole team is in position and mobilising is much more in line with what we were expecting to see this week. Dying to know though what those discussions will be like at Windsor Castle with Her Majesty. She will have a say for sure in what the new “walking down the aisle” plan too. Like I’m wondering if they’re presenting it to her today. How down would the Queen be with Doria walking Meghan? Or even Meghan walking herself?
