Dear Gossips,
PRINCE HARRY and MEGHAN MARKLE ARE GETTING MARRIED!
After weeks and weeks of waking up every Monday and starting the week off with the Hollywood Predator Advent Calendar, nobody is mad at this. Thank you, Prince Harry. For being so in love you couldn’t stand to wait any longer.
At post time, it’s 8am ET. In one hour, at 2pm London time/9am ET, Meghan Markle will be introduced to the British public for the first time ever… as Prince Harry’s fiancée. When Prince William and Kate Middleton did this 7 years ago, she wore a blue engagement dress by Issa. What will Meghan Markle wear today? A Canadian designer/label is not impossible. Meghan is American but she’s lived in Canada for the last several years. She is more associated with Toronto than she is with any American city. Canada is part of the Commonwealth of Nations. She already has established relationships with several Canadian brands. She wore Aritzia at the Invictus Games. Also Mackage. She’s worn Sentaler on several occasions. She’s also been seen in Erdem. Erdem might be the right choice? Erdem was born in Montreal and his label is based in London.
I mean we don’t have to wait long to find out. The photo call is in an hour. Then they’ll sit down for an interview that will air later today. And then at some point we’ll also get an official engagement portrait. Will and Kate’s engagement portrait was shot by Mario Testino. Is it going to be Mario Testino again?
Will and Kate announced their engagement on November 16, 2010. A week later, on November 23, they confirmed the wedding date. Then, three weeks after that, on December 12, 2010, the official engagement portraits were released. This one, remember?
It’ll be interesting to see if the same timeline is observed.
For now, here are all the statements from the palace.
