As mentioned last week, Rihanna’s been in LA the last couple of weeks getting ready for the new Savage X Fenty Vol. 2 presentation. Last year, if you recall, Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty disrupted NY Fashion Week and basically buried Victoria’s Secret. VS had already confirmed by that point that they wouldn’t be putting on their tired ass angels and wings spectacle and then Rihanna showed them that there’s no reason for them to ever come back because how could Victoria’s Secret possible do it better than this bad bitch? And if that wasn’t enough, she reminded then again last night.

Savage x Fenty Vol. 2 will available later today on Prime Video and, well, Rihanna told us that “y’all ain’t ready” and… are we every ready for Rihanna? She is always serving aces. This time is no exception. Like last year, she walked the runway alongside models of all shapes, sizes, genders, and backgrounds. There were thin girls, there with thick girls, there were thin boys, there were thick boys, there was trans representation, there was age representation. This is Rihanna, continuing to make sure that her brand is as accessible to as many people as possible and as she would say, it’s not like she’s going out of her way to try. It’s simply about seeing who is in the world – which should not be a herculean effort.

And then, of course, there’s the star power. The list of guest models is extensive – a mix of household names but also emerging stars who reflect the new landscape of celebrity.

Bella Hadid, Demi Moore, Jaida Essence Hall, and Abby Champion

The show also features performances by Rosalía, Bad Bunny, Miguel, Mustard, Roddy Rich, and Ella Mai – so basically just a few artists who’ve been ruling the charts this year. Because who would say no to Rihanna? This is the show everyone waits by the phone for. And some people you didn’t expect Rihanna to call, she called. Like Demi Moore.

Demi Moore!

When she said “y’all ain’t ready”, she was not playing.

You know what I love the most? The words “RIHANNA PRESENTS”. That’s such a boss title card.
