We’ll finish off our weekend red carpet coverage with this post, starting with Selena Gomez in a white sequined gown that looks incredible on her and pretty much completes a sweep for her this award season because from the Globes to the SAGs, every look has been outstanding, culminating in this Versace on Saturday.

This is the work of her stylist Erin Walsh, notable because for a long time Selena was working with Kate Young, another big name stylist who works with big name celebrities like Dakota Johnson and Michelle Williams.

But you could tell – and the fans certainly vocalised it – that it just wasn’t a good fit with Selena. Because the results speak for themselves. Since she started collaborating with Erin, it’s been only slay for Selena at almost every event. And, yes, of course, her personal life has a lot to do with it – Selena Gomez is feeling herself. Check her out on the carpet last night feeling the sh-t out of herself.

I however am not feeling Jennifer Aniston. Somehow she didn’t wear black, and still looked the same?! This might as well a little black dress like the hundreds of other LBDs we’ve seen on her over the years because there’s nothing to this shimmery silver gown that’s all that interesting. And yes, a lot of that has to do with the fact that she rarely ever does anything fresh with her hair but this hair with this dress is a flop.

I much prefer the silver stylings of Melissa McCarthy at the SAGs, one of the best dresses she’s ever worn. It was like liquid on her, buttery and slick and fun, and most important, you can tell she loved it.

And finally, I’m calling it a comeback but that’s an exaggeration. Quinta Brunson, after all, was never in need of a comeback. It’s just that, well, her Emmys dress was a bit of a letdown, it was pink and wrinkly and I don’t want you to remember it so don’t spend any time trying. Not when she showed up to the SAGs in this classically sublime custom YSL – it fit her beautifully, and the jewels!

She followed that up with another stunner at the Producers Guild so we are back on track with Quinta to end her season.
