Spoiler alert…
Sydney Sweeney was supposed to be getting married next month to Jonathan Davino. We know now that that’s not happening as the two haven’t been living together since at least February and have reportedly broken off their engagement.
She still gets to wear a wedding dress though. Production on season three of Euphoria has been underway for months and Sydney was seen on set yesterday filming a wedding scene, in a wedding dress. Alanna Ubach is also there, she plays Suze Howard, Cassie and Lexi’s mom.

Great work by the costume designer because that’s a very Lexi dress. And it’s also a very Sydney dress. Was it actually Sydney’s dress, LOL? Can you imagine?
Michael, aka MC who does the music columns here at LaineyGossip, mentioned this morning that he was kinda pissed that this leaked because it’s obviously a spoiler. Sure, but like, given what we know of this show, these characters, if there was anyone who was going to get married first and still young, it was always going to be Cassie. This decision is not a surprise.
As for who Cassie is marrying, unless the scene turns chaotic and there’s a last-minute “I change my mind!”, no groom can be seen in this footage but Jacob Elordi was papped in LA a few days ago so he’s back in town, presumably to work on the show and also to promote his upcoming film, On Swift Horses, due for release April 25, also starring Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Since season two of Euphoria, Jacob has been steadily booked in film after film after film with notable directors, including Emerald Fennell, Guillermo Del Toro, and Sofia Coppola. I wonder if his attitude about Euphoria will become like his attitude was about The Kissing Booth. He’s been dismissive of those movies, like they were beneath him, like he’s above the fanbase that was obsessed with them. Now that he’s ostensibly a film actor, is Euphoria going to be beneath him too?
