Lilo released a statement claiming contrition. She says she’s sorry. Or she is pretending to be sorry. Whatever the case, at the very least, she wants us to believe she’s sorry. And her father wants us to believe he’s a changed man. Not surprisingly he released a statement too, saying he’s happy the authorities did what was right to help rehabilitate his daughter.

Dina Lohan, however, is still making excuses, still blaming everyone but herself, still pulling out that pity card and waving it in your face. Here’s what Dina had to say to source and source…

On Lindsay’s upcoming imprisonment (and let’s face it, she won’t be in there more than a day or two):
“It’s really sad. Something bad is going to happen, I’m afraid.” Bitch… please!!! Afraid of what??? Nothing “bad” happened to Paris Hilton and that disease is universally despised! Why would Lilo be any different? Unless of course a sudden “asthma attack” warrants and emergency hospital visit with the paparazzi miraculously arriving before the ambulance…

On how she and her children are coping:
“My children and I are in a wonderful place in our lives and people just want to make things up and see us fail!”

So what are the chances Lindsay Lohan will change? With a mother like that, with an example like Dina hovering around her ass…
