Other necklaces worth heisting
Connor Storrie was at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book bash last night, but so were other people! For instance, Naomi Watts and Diane Kruger were both there, in excellent necklaces. Necklaci? Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade were there, too.
Chase Sui Wonders was also there in another great necklace, just waiting to be heisted! I also love Chase’s dress. This is a cool, modern take on the tea dress.

Another great look from Teyana Taylor, too. I would not heist her necklace. I want to PLAN the heist with Teyana Taylor. You know she’d be so fun in a heist! She needs to be in the Ocean’s 11 prequel, or she needs her own Ocean’s movie, or just put her in a FUN heist movie, period. The key is fun. Teyana is a great dramatic actress, but she is also FUN.

But the best necklace of the night goes to Greta Lee.

That is MAGNIFICENT. I must own it. I cannot afford it. There is only one way. Greta, bring me the jewels.
Okay, but seriously, now I am dreaming of a heist caper with Greta Lee and Teyana Taylor. Everyone sh-ts on Ocean’s 8 but that movie was FUN. We need more girlies doing fun heists in movies. I will die on this hill.
What else happened today…
How is Karol G the first Latina to headline at Coachella? Like HER, I get, but the first Latina? Only NOW? In 2026? Embarrassing for them, but good for her. Also, Karol G spent more on her set than the festival paid her to perform. It’s an investment in her career, so I get it, but it does have me thinking about that Justin Bieber set. In theory, I like what Bieber did, and I don’t want to judge too harshly, because we know he has had significant health battles. But…a woman would not get away with that at a place like Coachella. Women are expected to deliver big on stages like that. Look no further than the contrast between Karol G’s and Bieber’s sets. (Popsugar)
Los Angeles’s LACMA, the county museum of art, opened a new gallery. There was a gala to celebrate yesterday. Some people showed up and wore things. Said with no tone or judgment, I did not recognize Lori Loughlin. (Go Fug Yourself)
Lena Dunham has a new memoir, Famesick. I said this in The Squawk chat, but I will repeat it for the whole class—I met Lena when she was making Tiny Furniture. My impression back then was that she desperately wanted her life to be harder than it was, which is common among artists from privileged backgrounds. Now, though, she seems to have the difficult life she always wanted. Good for her.
Also, I am not the least bit surprised Adam Driver was a less than pleasant co-star. Not downplaying Lena’s experience, it’s just consistent with things we’ve heard about Driver before. He is not always a peach. (Celebitchy)
Gwyneth Paltrow and Goop are bringing Goop Kitchen, a take-out only health food restaurant, to New York. Because if there are two things New York’s food scene is famously missing, it’s take-out and healthy food. (Eater)
