Tom Brady was in LA last night for the premiere of 80 For Brady with Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin. I don’t care if this movie gets destroyed by critics; I’m seeing it anyway and I’m pretty sure I’m going to love it. 

 

So here’s an event featuring four Hollywood queens and a football king, who hasn’t walked a red carpet in a long, long time. It was a moment. And early this morning, that was the story – four Hollywood lady legends and Tom Brady. But then he went and did this:

And now everyone is talking about his second retirement and no one is talking about the movie. Nice timing, genius. 

 

Yes, I’m aware that it’s because it’s the anniversary of his retirement last year so he wanted to make it on the same day. Sure, but he didn’t retire, did he? He played a whole other season in the NFL so does that “anniversary” even matter? Is it even an anniversary when the thing the anniversary commemorates didn’t actually happen?! 

I love how he’s acting like February 1 is “Tom Brady Retirement Day” when it’s actually Beyoncé Renaissance Day. THAT is actually the anniversary the culture recognises right now as everyone is scrambling to register for pre-sales for Her Majesty’s tour.

So here we are. Tom Brady retired, unretired, got divorced, didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, is now retiring again, and getting clowned on social media. 

 
 

He should have known better than anyone what would happen. Because he’s the one who told us that she blessed him all those years with her good witch energy. And now the good witch is looking after herself. 

Page Six reports that Gisele will appear on the cover of Vanity Fair in the coming months and is expected to talk about their divorce. He’s the father of her children, she’s not going to drag him. She doesn’t have to. She’s living her best life again. And besides, we all know.
