Céline Dion’s will perform the final two shows on this leg of her Paris residency tonight and tomorrow. Officially it’ll be 16 shows but unofficially it’s so much more than that. Because there’s been a daily pre-show when she leaves the hotel and the nightly post-show when she returns to the hotel, complete with posing, waving, more singing, sometimes dancing, and always emoting.
She’s been a tourist attraction for the city, rivalling even Paris Fashion Week for virality and popularity – and not just for Paris, really, but internationally too, since those of us who haven’t been able to go live for all these hotel scenes. She is a treasure…which is why it’s so egregious that Mattel did this to her! I’m talking about the Céline Barbie that was revealed the other day, I am still mad about it.
We need a palate cleanser – and she gave us one, in the form of a new Chanel dress that was inspired by the Chanel dress she wore to the Oscars. You really have to appreciate the detail.
Céline will wrap it up on Saturday and then, hopefully, hibernate for at least a couple of months. And then in May she’ll return to Paris and do it all over again.
“I can’t wait to see Romeo Beckham in this movie” – a sentence I never, ever, ever, EVER expected to write in my lifetime. But here we are, in a timeline that is giving us a film starring Paul Kircher and Romeo, directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti that seems like it’s Heated Rivalry and Challengers had a baby. Romeo, by the way, is a good tennis player. And it looks like he might be a decent actor?! OK but now can we get a little messy? Because in the Beckham family, including members who are estranged, there is already an allegedly a professional actor. She’s married to Romeo’s brother. But it’s now ROMEO who’s acting alongside Guillaume Canet and CATHERINE DENEUVE!!!
Simu Liu is now married. And also he does look very sexy drumming in an elevator.
I love Atsuko Okatsuka SO much. SO MUCH. And she has talked often about being a cheerleader when she was in school. So it makes total sense that she was on Monday Night Football exercising that muscle memory. I have watched this at least 30 times. But she’s also the best for leaving the comment that she did on the Rams post.
I just learned that Kim Kardashian’s birthday is in October and that she’s a Libra. I only know this because she’s dating Lewis Hamilton and they’re in the Philippines for an early bday trip and you can see his arm in one of the videos in the carousel. Which she could have easily edited out HAHAHAHA as if.
