Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are supposedly getting married at Madison Square Garden in just over two weeks – on Independence Day weekend, the return of Taymerica in the biggest way.

As we have seen over the last couple of months, amid rampant speculation about the wedding, Taylor has not kept a low profile. In fact, it’s the opposite. She’s been out everywhere, from sporting events to Hollywood premieres to award shows, and birthday parties, and out for dinner and just last night, at Electric Lady Studios where she’s recorded so much of her work. Here she is arriving at 8pm…

…and staying until 6am. Looks like Alana Haim was with her when she left. Some people who were standing outside waiting for her said that they saw Benny Blanco, too.

It’s always possible that she was there for music. She is also known to party there, hang out with her friends and shoot the sh-t for hours. Needless to say, the theories abound. October marks the 20th anniversary of the release of her first album, Taylor Swift. Swifties have been speculating for months that she’s been planning something to commemorate it. She has yet to re-record this album – or, rather, it’s already re-recorded, she just hasn’t dropped it and now that she has bought back all of her masters, it’s uncertain whether or not she’ll ever drop it, but some fans believe that she’s been holding it for the milestone.

Or maybe it was a victory lap. It was confirmed yesterday that her new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You”, from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the 15th time she’s topped the chart. So that’s another box checked on her path to the Oscars.

This is happening concurrently with the conversation about her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s new girlfriend Sarah Pidgeon, as footage of the two in New York was shared yesterday, the gossip ecosystem’s new celebrity couple with all kinds of similarities to its predecessor. Sarah’s tall, blonde, and she too has a professional “Love Story”. Do we think Taylor watched Love Story: John F Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette? Please. I would put money on it.

Deeper in that video above there’s footage of Joe and Sarah from behind, her arm around his neck, then his arm around her. Let these two be hot and maybe a little boring together. I can’t imagine Taylor gives a sh-t about Joe and Sarah as much as some of the unhinged Swifties do, the ones who are rage-posting about it on socials. I get that there is lore here – the multiple Taylor connections (Sarah just filmed a movie with Jake Gyllenhaal) and the fact that the Met Gala appears to be where Joe and Sarah may have sparked, exactly ten years after that was the site that sparked Taylor and Joe. But still…

Your girl is winning, she’s made the #1 song for what will be the #1 movie. She was courtside when OG Anunoby tipped one of the most dramatic plays in NBA Finals history. Her punny t-shirts have become a trend. Attacking the guy she left for the woman he’s now with is not the look. The look is being unbothered and pre-bridal, and whether or not she’s really just two and a half weeks away from walking down the aisle…at MSG…before the sweat and champagne fumes clear out from the Knicks locker room, LOL. Imagine if that’s where she’s getting ready for her wedding, I’m dead.
