Kristen Stewart was papped for the first time this year the other day with fiancée (maybe wife now? She’s so low-key that if they got married, quietly, no one would know) Dylan Meyer.
She and Dylan aren’t just partnered in their personal life, they’re also business partners. Back in June of last year they announced that their production company, Nevermind, which also includes Maggie McLean, signed a first-look deal with Fremantle on a number of scripted and unscripted projects where Kristen would star in or direct and Dylan will write or direct. One of those projects is The Challenger in which KStew will make her television series debut as Sally Ride, the first American woman in space.
As you can see, Kristen is blonde again, and this was the main headline when these shots were first released. But… why? Maybe it’s just a mood, but it could, of course, also be for work. Not Sally Ride though because she had brown hair but maybe for Flesh of the Gods?
That film, co-starring Oscar Isaac, was announced back in Cannes, described as a “vampire thriller” about KStew and Oscar Isaac, a wealthy married couple a drawn into a “glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence” as they prowl the LA night scene after dark. And it’s set in the 80s.
Her hair, right now, totally tracks for that setting, non? Can’t wait to see the costume design for this movie. Young rich vampire lovers during the excess 80s? Think of all the neon and eyeliner and teasing and spandex and shoulder pads. If she’s blonde on top of that? KStew in her Madonna era? As the kids say, I am seated.
