RAYE will be joining Bruno Mars on tour starting tomorrow in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. While in the New York area, she was on TODAY this morning for an interview and a five-song performance.

It should be illegal to sound this good in the morning and be so charming, seriously f-ck off but also I love you.

During the interview, RAYE was asked about her next album… and her fans are quite familiar. We just talked about it a couple of weeks ago when she was seen at Six Flags with Michael B Jordan, resulting in a short 48 hours of gossip happiness before TMZ came and forced the truth down our throats that they’re collaborating on a film soundtrack and nothing more.

OK fine but it COULD be more eventually, right? This is important! It’s not just important for the gossip but also from the music. Because our girl keeps double and tripling down on the promise that she will not put out another album until the album title comes true: And Then She Fell in Love. This time on American network morning television.

This is terrifying because, well, any single straight woman can probably tell you: it’s bleak out there. Some of the stories I’m hearing from my friends are pure horror. And it’s not like RAYE hasn’t been singing about the trash she’s experienced. So, as she says, it could very well be ten years. Unless a man worthy of her steps up. We need a miracle or MBJ, let’s go!

What else happened today…

Kayleigh Donaldson on how to prevent the star curse for young performers. (Pajiba)

I was just thinking about this the other day re: Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys and I feel like there’s a lot of crossover here between them and Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, even down to the curly hair. (Go Fug Yourself)

Hard agree with Anne Hathaway. (Celebitchy)

The family drama over the sale of the Lakers needs to be a TV show. Another TV show. I know we already had Succession but this is sports and that’s a whole over flavour of mess. (The Ringer)

Post Malone is engaged to Christy Lee and I think that might the craziest engagement ring I have ever seen in terms of size. It is mammoth. It is a planet. It is so big it seems wrong, like unnatural. And unpractical. WTF is that actually what I’m seeing??? (The Cut)
