At around 5pm eastern standard time yesterday, PEOPLE reported that Spider-Man: Homecoming co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are dating. At around 6pm eastern standard time yesterday, Lainey sent me a link to this news and when I read it, I dropped my phone out of my hands (it didn’t break, thank the Holy Twins) and squealed like no grown woman ever should. I’m extra. Say something.

By now, you probably know how we feel about Zendaya here at LaineyGossip. She is an impeccably-dressedVogue-covering ray of sunshine who should be protected at all costs. You also probably know how we feel about Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Sarah called his performance “remarkable.” She and I have both fangirled repeatedly over Tom and Zendaya’s continued adorableness throughout the Spider-Man press tour. IF this couple is really happening, we care. A LOT.

According to PEOPLE’s source, it all started on set of Spider-Man: Homecoming:

“They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man,” says the source. “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”

The source also says that they bond over their shared ambition and sense of humour. I would add that they also bond over their freakishly good dancing skills. Remember their epic Lip Sync Battle episode?

Remember this video?

I realize that these two humans are only 20 and 21 years old, respectively, and I don’t want to put too much pressure on them but I’m going to need them to go ahead and get married and have babies.

Before I get too excited, I should mention that both Zendaya and Tom Holland responded to the dating rumours on Twitter.

CUTE. That’s not exactly a no though, is it? Both statements hint at a denial but neither of them actually say, “Nah, this isn’t happening.” So, it’s totally happening. Let me have this. There are few things I love more than teen love (I know they are both in their twenties but they play teenagers on screen, OK) and black girls falling in love. Again, not to put too much pressure on Tom and Zendaya but this couple is essentially ripped from my dreams and I’m already obsessed with them. Their awkward teen angsty banter in Spider-Man: Homecoming was my whole sh-t.

The Spider-Man franchise gave us Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire (maybe). It gave us Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield (definitely). Now, it has hopefully, maybe, probably given us Tomdaya. Zenlland? Zom? Zomdaya?
