US Weekly’s new cover is a pregnancy announcement for Jennifer Aniston. As reported yesterday, she’s supposedly not formally confirming until 6 months. As expected, the story was the major headline yesterday. We opened with it on The Social and many audiences cheered – it’s like we all have an investment in Jen’s uterus.

But Stephen Huvane, Jen’s publicist, is vehemently denying the claim, telling Page Six that:

“The whole story is a complete fabrication all the way from a supposed cancelled Smartwater shoot to Jennifer asking for a late check-out in Toronto and to her stylist having to rework her wardrobe. None of this ever happened and shame on US Magazine for once again getting it all wrong.  Jennifer is NOT pregnant.”

It’s not the first time that US Weekly and Huvane have disagreed. In 2006, the magazine actually called out Huvane for all the times that he’s lied. It was awesome. They listed 5 incidents where Huvane was caught – click here for a refresher.

So for his sake, I hope she isn’t. And at the same time, I kinda hope she is. Because this would be so great to throw in his face. And it would be our best go-to example to show that when a publicist says it, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.

You’ve been trying to figure out if it’s true for 24 hours, and judging from my inbox, your focus has been her breasts. BumpWatch is unreliable Lainey! It’s the chest you have to watch for! OK. You’re the experts, after all. It’s certainly not me.

Here’s Jen leaving a dinner party last night in West Hollywood. I’m not sure this is going to help you either way though.
