In Hollywood, even florists are famous. In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Hollywood’s most well-connected florist, Eric Buterbaugh is profiled, along with his three closest celebrity friends, Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, and Nicole Richie.
Obviously.
There’s not a lot of gossip detail since the feature is about Buterbaugh but the photos are gorgeous. I love the way G looks in that long-sleeved, full length, body-con dress; Nicole’s stripes centred amid all those flowers; the art direction here is stunning, non?
As for the interviews, the only comment worth noting here is from Demi, about when she met Buterbaugh, her description of what she was like then…
Moore met Buterbaugh—which, she'll correct you, is pronounced "Booter-bah" ("No butts here!" she admonishes)—at a mutual friend's birthday party in 2002. The pair were introduced and chatted, then bumped into each other again at the valet. "In those days I used to carry around with me a small, hard cooler full of Red Bull and I smoked Marlboro Reds," she recalls. "So as I was waiting by myself for my car to come, sitting on my little cooler, Eric looked over at me and said, 'I like you, because you're just not right.' " Moore laughs. "And we've been best friends ever since."
Seriously. Demi Moore and her f-cking Red Bulls. Remember that? They were all on the Red Bull and cigarettes diet back then.
