Marion Cotillard and Michael Fassbender looked like they were having a great time together last night at the amfAR gala in Cannes ahead of the premiere of Macbeth at the festival, one of the most highly anticipated films in competition. Two new clips have just been released showing Fassbender’s Macbeth at his coronation, looking well on his way to derangement, and then later in battle with some curious directing decisions, at least to me. I’m no film expert but I find the slow motion POV cutaway jarring. Click here to see.
Not sure if Marion will be joined by Guillaume Canet at the Palais. He was just in Paris at a show jumping event. Also this green Jean Paul Gaultier dress is probably the worst choice I’ve ever seen her make. As for whether or not Michael will have a date – Alicia Vikander is in Cannes too, and she was also at the amfAR gala, though, as far as I know, there are not shots of them together. I LOVE what Alicia’s wearing. And with her hair back like that, her face is just perfect.
