Lindsay Lohan gave US Weekly an exclusive interview leading up to the release of Liz & Dick...on Lifetime. Can we please remember that this is a TV movie of the week???

Anyway, some sh-t about how she’s definitely changed and learned and has no regrets and feels bullied and it’s the media’s fault and then...she compares herself FAVOURABLY to Elizabeth Taylor:

“I’m great. Elizabeth was drunk on sets. I’ve never been drunk on set ever. I did my time and I respect the law.”

Oh yeah. She did. She just said that Ms Taylor was worse than she ever was.

Then she draws a parallel between herself and Marilyn Monroe. Apparently they are the same:

“I think (getting back on track) happened when I was at Betty Ford. That’s how I changed. Marilyn Monroe went to an institution and said, ‘I may not belong here like the world thinks I do, but I might as well take what I can get here and use it and help other people.’ I think that’s what everyone should take from those experiences.”

So...

She didn’t need help. But she’s such an inspiration because she made the most of her situation and turned it into a positive and is now some kind of role model...? Who will be a mother?

“Yes. I want to adopt a son.”

And I believe her. I believe that if she could she’d try to make that happen tomorrow, seeing as motherhood is the great whitewash; she’d be doing it for her career, to have something to sell, to have a baby to sell, in the hopes that somehow that might buy her... an Oscar.

Lindsay Lohan is STILL talking about Oscar. She manages to talk about Oscar even when she’s asked about falling in love:

“I’m not focused on that yet. I want to do a ton of movies first. After I win an Oscar, I can start thinking about love.”

Before it was “I want to win an Oscar”. Now it’s “I WILL win an Oscar”. Lindsay Lohan can’t get a job, but still she knows that somehow she’ll win an Oscar. All she wants is that Oscar. The glory of the Oscar. The ATTENTION that comes from the Oscar. As I’ve said so many times before, you never need to worry about Lindsay Lohan’s self esteem. Lindsay Lohan has never had a problem loving herself.

Here she is arriving back in LA in advance of tonight’s Liz & Dick premiere.
