A box office win for Brad Pitt’s Fury. Fury’s performance this weekend just made it an Oscar conversation so Part 1 of Brange’s road to Oscar seems to have been accomplished. The rest is up to Unbroken.
As you know, Brad put in some work and hustle to promote this film. When they want, they can sell these two. And I wonder what we’ll be saying, just over 6 months from now, when the Oscar red carpet has been put away, about their campaign and how it started. On August 23, at their wedding. Too cynical? Oh come on. From this perspective it’s a compliment. On strategy they have no equal in Hollywood right now.
