I wrote yesterday that Kristen Stewart seems like she’s having so much fun in Cannes. They seem to love her in France. And she’s loving them back.
Look at her today at the photo call for Personal Shopper. She’s playing for the cameras. Not pouting…but playing! This is Kristen Stewart supporting her film, showing up for her film. Sharing her personality for her film. In her way. Which isn’t goofy or extra, not a compromise of who she is but it’s still engaging, even in still photographs she looks engaged. And so confident.
Personal Shopper has received mixed reviews. But almost everyone is singling out Kristen for her performance. A few of my friends there covering the festival called it the best of her career. So all parts of her life are running smooth. On the personal side, Alicia Cargile, as you know, has joined her in Cannes and they were out at a party together last night, making it obvious what’s between them.
Can we talk about this little goldy Chanel though? With the drawstring waist?! Love it so much.
