When the videos and photos of Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski making out went viral this weekend, the streets were actually waiting on visual confirmation of another new couple: Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik.
The rumours about Selena and Zayn started brewing last week. From this TikTok:

And then ET cited an eyewitness who saw them kissing and making out. So basically 2023 continues to be chaotic. Because of course there are so many dotted lines here.
This is the second ex of the Hadid sisters that Selena has dated, the first being The Weeknd who, of course, was with Bella for so many years. Gigi and Zayn are the parents of a daughter, but it’s been a minute since Gigi and Zayn were together so we’re not in any overlap territory but still. Gigi is close with Taylor Swift, who is Selena’s best friend, so while there may not have been any timelines overlapping, the circles definitely overlap.
Reportedly, according to Us Weekly, Gigi is unbothered by this development. I don’t know how much stock I put in Us Weekly though because, well, this is the kind of story that is impossible to deny. What’s Gigi going to say? It’s not like she’s going to post in stories that she disapproves.
Back in January, Selena was seen holding hands with Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers. That, apparently, came and went. And now Zayn is in the picture, just after she made headlines for trying to shut down all the f-ckery online between her and Hailey Bieber.
