Girls collaborators and co-founders of the Lenny Letter Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner attended the MET Gala with J Crew president and creative director Jenna Lyons, and they all wore J Crew tuxedoes. Different body types, different styling, and they all look great. I LOVE this. I’m a sucker for menswear anyway—thank you, Marlene Dietrich— but I’m really into how effortless this looks on all three of them.
You know going to the MET Gala is never effortless, but the best dressed always make it look like they just threw something on and walked out the door. I’m sure a lot of wrangling went into the tuxedo triplets, but it doesn’t look like a lot of wrangling went into the tuxedo triplets, so these three are on my best dressed list. Of course, I was just arguing with Lainey about Claire Danes glow in the dark gown, which is like the ultimate nerd prom dress, so my judgment may be questionable.
