Of course, when you make Mad Men, one of the most admired dramas of all time, people will be eager to sign onto your next project but even still this cast list is INSANE. The trailer is a who’s who directory—John Slattery, Christina Hendricks, Isabelle Huppert, Corey Stoll, Paul Reiser, Amanda Peet, Ron Livingston, Diane Lane, and that’s just what I can remember without rewatching the trailer or checking IMDB. Full Story

Cary Joji Fukanaga has been absent our screens since Beasts of No Nation. He returns to Netflix in September, though, with a limited series called Maniac that he adapted from a Norwegian show. The details have been scarce until now, about six weeks before the series debuts, as we finally get a trailer giving us very little real idea of what this show will be. Full Story

There may be a new Kelly coming to daytime. As part of her talent deal with NBCUniversal, Kelly Clarkson has started filming a pilot for her own syndicated daytime talk show. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that the show is looking at a fall 2019 premiere date. Full Story
