Jason Momoa is hosting SNL this weekend, and their promos are largely just thirst traps. When you have a hot surfer dude the size of a tree as your host, the jokes write themselves. The Golden Globe nominations came down this morning and you guys, who is going to tell the HFPA that they forgot about Atlanta? It’s a lot, I know, there is SO much television. It’s impossible to watch everything and hard to keep up with new episodes, but even with all the clamoring competition, Atlanta stands out, so is this oversight is just plain forgetfulness on the part of the HFPA? Well, they did nominate Donald Glover for Best Actor in a comedy series, so they do remember that Atlanta exists. Full Story

How many comebacks does it take to actually come back? Lindsay Lohan’s team (cut to Dina Lohan swigging from a bottle of unoaked chardonnay) hasn’t exactly worked out the numbers yet. We have covered Lindsay’s fits and starts several times. Lindsay’s career burnout and downfall is in no way exceptional. Full Story

Lana Condor is an LG fave. We’ve been obsessed with her since August when her charm and capability exploded off the screen in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Today I realized that while we’ve been falling for Lana Condor, we still don’t know a lot about her. Full Story

Awkwafina has had a big year, with Ocean’s 8, Crazy Rich Asians, an EP (In Fina We Trust), and hosting SNL, the iHeartRadio MMVAs, and the Hollywood Film Awards. And now, to cap it off, comes the announcement that Awkwafina will star in her own comedy series on Comedy Central. The show will be called Awkwafina and it’s inspired by her early years in New York City. Full Story

Remember when The Best Chris had a black eye? Every time I see a trailer or news about his latest collaboration with Patty Jenkins, a TNT mini-series called I Am The Night, I think of Chris’s black eye. Full Story

Dear Gossips,

So have you started watching Dogs on Netflix yet? Sasha texted me about the series the other day. She said that she’s never cried so much in her life. She also said that she was worried that my husband, Jacek, might not be able to deal.  Read Full Intro

Gwyneth’s goop is apparently still a magazine even though they’re no longer partnered with Condé Nast because fact-checking was an issue – Condé Nast was apparently into it and goop wasn’t. Full Story

Claire Foy co-hosted the Evening Standard Theater Awards over the weekend, showing up in a McQueen that I wish was either not off the shoulder, or had shorter sleeves, one or the other, because right now the sleeves are doing too much. Foy is enjoying the last days of her reign at television’s Queen Elizabeth II—Olivia Colman takes over in the new year—and she’s also working her Oscar odds. Full Story

YES, PLEASE. I yell those two words at my computer screen often. Usually, it’s at pictures of Michael Bae Jordan or when I see a casting announcement I’m excited for. Sometimes, I yell YES, PLEASE at Netflix specifically, like when they’re giving me a new musical to obsess over or crappy Christmas rom-coms to binge. Full Story
