Law Roach, whose work has given us so much life the last few years, was named InStyle’s Stylist of the Year at last night’s InStyle Awards. Zendaya was there to present to him. And, well, with their partnership, he could win Stylist of the Year every year. You’ve seen what they’ve created together. Full Story

A groundbreaking graphic novel in the 1980s, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen remains today one of the most influential pieces of 20th century speculative fiction. A deconstruction of superhero comics and the geopolitics of the Cold War, Watchmen is a kind of adaptation holy grail. The Crown season three is dropping at an interesting time. There is so much to cover after Harry & Megan: An African Journey aired last night in the UK on ITV I’m doing it in two separate posts. As you’ve probably seen, the British tabloids are in a frenzy about what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s comments – about the tabloid media, about the pressure of their jobs and the spotlight, about their mental health, and about Harry’s relationship with his brother, Prince William. Full Story

Back when Mad Men was a factor at award shows and its cast regularly appearing on all the award show carpets, January Jones would be one we would consistently wait for. And she was consistently one of the best dressed – at the Emmys, at the Globes, at the SAGs, January could reliably be counted on to bring it. Full Story

I have to be honest, I am baffled that we are discussing Shane Gillis’s firing from SNL as if it is some kind of moral or free speech issue. 1) Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences, no one is arresting Gillis for what he said but his private employer chose to fire him, which is their prerogative and also totally fair because 2) HE USED PEJORATIVE SLURS. Full Story

This week marked the debut for A Little Late with Lilly Singh, the former YouTuber, replacing Last Call with Carson Daly, which occupied the slot since 2002. Lilly’s show is fresh and original. She upholds some of the popular late night traditions, like the monologue, but she puts a specific Lilly spin on them, turning them into moments or sketches. Full Story
