The Emmys were Monday night in Los Angeles, but everyone is in New York City. Verity stars Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway were both out and about in the big apple yesterday; I wonder if they’re doing advance press for Verity? That press tour has to be starting soon, the film opens in a couple weeks.

But also, Jennifer Lawrence was outside amidst a relatively quiet year. She’ll return as Katniss for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping in November, but that’s probably just a cameo. Her next big project, in terms of role, is Martin Scorsese’s What Happens at Night, which has no release date but probably late 2027. I like JLaw’s graphic shirt a lot.

And then there’s Bella Hadid, who had a multi-outfit day. I almost didn’t recognize her with the blonde blowout:

The “office but make it fashion” outfit was just one look among many, including a slinky dress to a Chopard event last night:

But because New York truly is a city where no one sleeps or ever goes inside, Thom Browne’s runway show for New York Fashion Week brought out a slew of stars, too. Most notably Janelle Monae, who is the celebrity most spiritually suited to Thom Browne’s suit aesthetic:

The runway show also brought out Severance stars Britt Lower and Adam Scott—who has entered a new era of hotness in the last couple years—Danai Gurira, Naomi Watts, Sophie Thatcher, and Demi Moore, almost unrecognizable in what I assume is a bobbed wig:

It is amazing how much hair changes a person. Bella Hadid goes blonde and Demi Moore wears a short wig, and my dumb eyes are like, “Who are these mysterious women? I have never seen them before in my life!” Eyes are dumb like that.
