I am getting behind on requests so let’s get to it!

Serena Williams’s punchy sweater

Serena pulled out a wild cardigan while shopping with her daughter in Paris. There are certain things North American women are told about Paris street style, that it’s all about a uniform (Chanel flats, button up shirts, stripes, blazers) which is probably a half-truth and oversimplification, or downright dated. I have no idea how women in Paris dress but I don’t think an American influencer who visited for a week and stayed in a tourist zone knows, either.

One thing is true: Quiet Luxury still dominates, which is why this pop of colour stands out. To quote Kristen Johnson before she fell out of the window on Sex and the City, “Remember fun?!”

Like the reader, I thought it was maybe Gucci but upon further inspection it’s Farm Rio. And, it’s on sale right now! Also, it’s described as navy but my eyes are seeing purple.

Demi Moore’s aviators

Demi Moore and Joe Jonas are looking less and less likely from a gossip perspective as he’s apparently canoodling with someone on vacation but summer romances are tricky – don’t count it out just yet.

I was asked about her sunglasses from this post and I was able to find them because she wore them in a movie called Corporate Animals (which I had never heard of but is available to rent).

These are by Randolph Engineering, an independent, family-owned maker of sunglasses, prescription and shooting glasses. The movie was made in 2018/19 and she still wears them regularly, which is as it should be! A good pair of sunglasses should last forever, even if they need to be tightened once in a while. You can peruse the collection here, they have an entire page about her.

Meg, I hope these replace your lost ones!

JLo – another pair of baggy pants

There have been so many new JLo photos that I had to search through several sets to find the one with these pants. Say what you want about this woman, she does not hide! And she loves a wide leg.

I believe the ones she wore to The Grove are the Piper Pleated Trousers from The Frankie Shop – Moda Operandi has a pair here. For a similar look that is less pricey (but still great quality), I’d go with the Uniqlo pleated pants. Thanks Eileen!
