I just read this story and wept. Augie is the world’s oldest golden retriever and Dlisted’s HSOTM! For being 20 years old! Look at this girl! She still has a punk face! For those of us with pets, thinking about them aging is the worst. That’s the deal you make in exchange for all that love and joy – they will leave before you and you have to accept from the beginning that one day, you’ll be missing them. Which is why, in our case, we are obsessed with keeping our dogs as young and healthy as possible. They walk a minimum of 5km every day. Jacek is constantly researching new foods. Their food is often fresher and more lovingly prepared than ours. Hopefully we’ll have an Augie experience too. (Dlisted)
