You know what I did for the first time ever today? I got a mammogram, and it took a bit of time, which is why I haven’t been super focused today on work. Even though work is the reason I’ve been putting it off, as most of the time these appointments happen in the middle of the day, which is obviously not the smartest choice to be making about your body. So, yes, this is basically a PSA. If you’ve been lax about your breast health, stop that sh-t now and go get your breasts compressed. That, by the way, if you’re not familiar, is what it feels like – basically your tits are getting squished and it’s not the most comfortable thing but for me it wasn’t as bad as how some of my friends made it sound. The worst part was actually having to stay still and holding your breath. Not moving is not my strength.

Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter are the cutest couple ever and if you haven’t watched this clip of them on The Drew Barrymore Show, do it right now and prepare to cry. (Pajiba)

I really love this Loewe dress on Dakota Fanning but want to see it in a different colour. The flower detail is gorgeous, it’s a great design feature. Worth enduring all the tape for. (Go Fug Yourself)

Brooklyn Beckham is getting clowned again for his culinary skills. He’s making Bolognese while caring for a puppy so I’m more concerned about the puppy being near the flames than anything else. As for the sauce, now’s a good time to tell you that my favourite Bolognese recipe, along with most other people I know, is Marcelle Hazan’s. (Dlisted)

Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon cover the new issue of PEOPLE Magazine to celebrate 35 years of marriage. And this is Hollywood so they’ve been through it. Imagine what losing all that money would do to any relationship – but still, they came out of it as strong as they’ve ever been. (Cele|bitchy)

Tony Leung will accept the Golden Lion Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Film Festival this year alongside Liliana Cavani. He’s the first Chinese actor to receive the honour, having starred in three films that won the Golden Lion. A LEGEND! (The Hollywood Reporter)
