Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas were seen back in LA late last week in time for Thanksgiving after being photographed on the set of Deep Water reshoots in New Orleans. It was their first Thanksgiving together and, according to PEOPLE with the exclusive, they spent it at his place:
“Affleck, who shares daughters Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 11, as well as 8-year-old son Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, hosted the kids at his house for the holiday, the source adds.
"Ben and Ana seem great," says the source. "Everyone seemed very happy. Ana has been traveling so she had not seen the kids for a while."
Here are photos of Ben and Ana while at the park with his children on Saturday. Although “sources” can sometimes be the paparazzi taking the photos, I’m going to say that PEOPLE’s “source” is NOT the paparazzi because they did not run any of these shots with their story, which is typically the deal. So who’s telling PEOPLE that Ben and Ana had the kids for Thanksgiving at his home and that they all “seemed very happy”? Were they there?
Anyway, now that Ben and Ana have enjoyed their first Thanksgiving, Christmas is next and, as I mentioned in my last post about them, Ben often spends Christmas with Jennifer Garner and their kids in Montana. More and more we’ve seen blended families in Hollywood, modelling conscious uncoupling. I’m not saying Ben, Ana, and Jen should show up on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith or anything, as amazing as that would be, LOL, but I wonder how performative – or not – they’ll be with their situation.
Speaking of Jennifer Garner, she was seen out in the neighbourhood yesterday stopping to talk to a friend. I appreciate their physically distanced selfie, or FaceTime, whatever it was that they were doing on the phone.
