Monday is Family Day in Canada so the site will be dark. We'll be back to normal programming on Tuesday. See you then!

Bridgerton season four isn’t expected until next year, but the Bridgerton PR team at Netflix never miss a chance to celebrate with Lady Whistledown.

This Valentine’s Day, they’re sharing a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the fourth season, including a look at Lady Bridgerton’s masquerade ball, and Yerin Ha in costume as the mysterious “lady in silver” who captures Benedict Bridgerton’s heart. She looks incredible, the costumes on this show never disappoint.

There was also an event last night to celebrate. Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha were on hand, as were Golda Rosheuvel and Hugh Sachs, who plays the queen’s faithful equerry, Brimley. Showrunner Jess Brownell was there, too, but her treatment of Colin and Penelope in season three had many book readers up in arms. I thought that season brought back some of the froth and sparkle of Bridgerton, but people are super passionate about these books and you’ll never please everyone. An Offer from a Gentleman is my second-favorite book in the series (after The Viscount Who Loved Me), and I’m hoping for a slightly better result for Benedict and Sophie than we got for Anthony and Kate.

Speaking of Kate, though, Netflix has confirmed that despite rumors to the contrary, Simone Ashley WILL appear in season four. What she’ll do, I don’t know, once their story is over, most of the Bridgerton siblings disappear from the books. Shoehorning them into the show might not be what we need, even if it’s what we want!

What else happened today…

Bonus friend, fringe friend, however you put it, it sucks when you realize you aren’t a priority to your friends, especially when they’re a priority to you. (Popsugar)

Cobra Kai is coming to an end, an unlikely success story in the streaming age. From Youtube breakout to Netflix hit, this is the little show that could. Say goodbye with some goofy premiere photos. (Go Fug Yourself)

I’m genuinely happy the Eagles won the Super Bowl, because Philadelphia is a fun sports town, and those fans really go through it, so it’s nice whenever Philly gets a win. Also, win or lose, it’s fun to watch the chaos unfold in Philadelphia whenever they do a sports thing.

But by far the FUNNIEST thing to happen this football season is the New York Jets dismissing Aaron Rodgers like he’s a guest who overstayed his welcome. (Celebitchy)

Canadian filmmaker Ann Marie Fleming, director of Window Horses, is back with a new film called Can I Get a Witness, which played at TIFF last year and more recently screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The film stars Keira Jang, Joel Oulette, and Sandra Oh, and it’s about a world in which, due to climate devastation, no one lives past 50 and much technology has been abandoned. A clip from the film has been released, and it’s giving strong “YA dystopia” vibes with the young leads and “death by 50” premise, but I like the incorporation of animation into the film. It’ll be released in Canada on March 14, Canadians report back on how this one is.
