Cardi B’s new album is coming September 19 (finally), and is titled Am I The Drama? The answer is yes, and always. And in every category. In her personal life, on top of the ashes of her broken marriage, the drama right now is whether or not she and Stefon Diggs are still a thing. As Maria noted yesterday in Celebrity Social Media, Cardi scrubbed him from her IG, leading to speculation that they were done. 

 

But then yesterday he posted a new training video to YouTube. It’s 16 minutes long and she shows up in the gym with him at the 11:30 mark in sweats, no makeup, and maybe even no bra, LOL. Anyway, the timing of this drop, just as everyone was thinking they were over, added another twist to the, um, drama. Someone then clipped the part of Stefon’s video that included Cardi and posted it on Twitter which Cardi reposted: 

 

And then had more words to say, because Cardi has never been able to say less. 

 

It’s always the people who are the most dramatic who are trying to say there’s no drama. Not that I’m complaining – I love this about Cardi. This is what makes her so entertaining but also so endearing, even after all this time, all these years of fame. In so many ways she is still who she was when she first broke out. 

 

As for those looks she’s talking about, well, that’s part of the drama too because she has been f-cking serving it in Paris this week because drama is the whole point of couture. Yesterday was Stephane Rolland – a look specifically chosen for her: a nun and the Queen of Spades had a baby. 

 

Drop the hood and it’s a beautifully constructed black and white dress with a caped outer skirt, SO good. 

Also attached – Cardi heading to Demna’s final show for Balenciaga today. He’s heading to Gucci and it’ll be interesting to see how he attempts to revive the house after its post-Michele decline. Kim Kardashian walked the runway and nobody understands why. My favourite comment underneath this post is “yes queen give us nothing”. Exactly.
