The White Lotus blooms again this Sunday, and the premiere was last night in Los Angeles. Given the show’s stature three seasons in, and its powerhouse cast, the premiere was a star-studded affair.

Returning White Lotus star Natasha Rothwell was there in a beaded gown giving Art Deco vibes, appropriate for a show about abundance and luxury. Series creator/writer/director Mike White was also there, as was Survivor host Jeff Probst. White competed in season 37 of Survivor, and he has talked about how his experience contributed, in part, to The White Lotus (mainly: people complaining in beautiful locations), so Jeff Probst is like a fun red carpet Easter egg.

Other season three stars including Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Lisa, and Walton Goggins were all present and accounted for, but honestly, who can see anything other than Carrie Coon showing up looking HOT as F-CK in a TUX?

Gillian Anderson should appear in The Gilded Age and have intensely passive-aggressive fights over tea and in corners of ballrooms with Carrie Coon’s character while they both wear tiaras. This is very personal to me.

Through the Carrie Coon haze I did clock Paris Hilton at this premiere, which is like a Y2K flashback. She used to show up at everything, these days she’s a little more selective. She’s also wearing a great dress.

And because season three co-stars Patrick Schwarzenegger, the whole Schwarzenegger-Shriver clan showed up to support him, including dad Arnold and mom Maria.

Also on hand were Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt. I’ve never noticed it before, but they don’t look NOT related. It’s the noses and smiles. They have the same nose and smile.

The White Lotus is an Emmy darling. So are Hacks and The Bear. Both Hacks and The Bear have new seasons coming up, both are expected—though not confirmed—to premiere in May. If they debut before May 31, they’ll be eligible for Emmy consideration for the 2024-25 season alongside The White Lotus. If this happens, we’re in for a comedy juggernaut showdown at the Emmys in September (insert obligatory “The Bear is not a comedy” reference). I have only one thing to say to that.
