Sophie Turner’s caption is the perfect July kickoff (and for those, like me, who didn’t know it already - this a reference to a British TV show). She’s fully in her hot girl summer and no Peregrine Pearson in this photo dump.
Might she, like Natalie Portman, be playing the field a bit? Good for her.
Lainey’s post about Natalie Portman’s date made me go down a mini rabbit hole as Gad Elmaleh is very good friends with the Seinfelds. If that turns into more than a date, that Hamptons social circle might get another movie star in the mix.
Millie Bobby Brown is on her honeymoon with Jake Bongiovi and joined by her in-laws. For many, this would not be the ideal honeymoon. In fact, it would be a nightmare. But Millie and Jake are 20 and 22, respectively. They are what a lot of us would consider “kids” even though they are technically adults. And that familial emotional support can be helpful for a young marriage, particularly when your father-in-law has the same incredibly rare experience of fame. And in a way, I wonder if Millie relates to Jon and Jake relates to his mom Dorothea.
I’m rooting for these two.
Back in mid-June some tabloids were reporting that Gisele and her boyfriend broke up and at the time, I was skeptical. My theory was she didn’t want to be part of the Tom Brady Show and thus took more precautions to not be photographed. For once, I was right (it’s rare, I know). They are going strong.
Jonathan Van Ness has addressed the Rolling Stone profile about Queer Eye, including allegations they had rage issues and were a “nightmare” on set. It was part of a larger story on Bobby Berk leaving the show and JVN was not the focus; as a whole, the cast came off looking pretty disjointed and petty with one another. In a podcast, JVN said the allegations are untrue and that some people wanted proof that they have been fake all along. There has been little follow up on the reporting and their initial non-reaction turned out to be the best reaction from a brand perspective – the “rage” allegations haven’t stuck.
