Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler, and Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, are the first big splits of 2025, but you know who is still, maybe, together? Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum. PEOPLE reported that they spent Christmas as a family.
After one of the biggest scandals of 2024, Dave went all the way underground. He lives in the Valley, so not quite the hot spot of Brentwood, but before the scandal he was sometimes papped. Not often, but sometimes. The only shots I’ve seen of him since are from late September in LA, out Halloween shopping. He is going long stretches without being seen and this is a guy who used to be out all the time – touring, hanging at the Chateau Marmont, lots of award shows and parties. Foo Fighters whole deal is that they are always on the road. There’s no tour dates for 2025 as of right now. Violet Grohl has been back on Instagram for a minute; Francis Bean Cobain commenting on her New Year’s post makes me a little emo.
The great thing about being a Real Housewives fan is that the genre can be applied to any situation. Literally anything.

The New York premiere for Back in Action, Cameron Diaz’s first movie in forever, has been cancelled. The movie drops in a week on Netflix and while there’s limited bandwidth to promote it (both Jamie and Cameron live in LA), getting Cameron back on screen is a huge move for Netflix. So do you continue with the schedule and drop it without much promotion? Or do you postpone the drop date and hope to run at least part of the marketing plan?
While this stuff may seem superfluous compared to the disastrous fires, the movie industry has many unseen jobs that are not glamorous. But they are jobs. When that industry grinds to a halt (like we saw during the strike), it’s not the actors that we need to worry about, it’s the thousands of other people whose livelihoods depend on the industry.
I’m NOT getting into the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively lawsuits but one thing that piqued my interest is that The Rock was represented by Stephanie Jones, Justin’s old publicist who was not part of Blake’s complaint (the fall out between Jones and Jen Abel is covered in this Variety story). The Rock reportedly split with her in May, which would be shortly after the negative story about him in The Wrap dropped. The Rock reportedly moved to The Lede Company, which has a pretty impressive roster. Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivio, Zoe Saldana and … Hugh Grant. Can you imagine being the publicist for this grump?
