Celine Dion: never too much

Help me, I don’t know what to do. Celine Dion is in Paris for fashion week. It’s Celine Dion Paris Fashion Week. There were eight thousand outfits this weekend. Most of them are candidates for Outfit of the Week. But I don’t want to choose the OOTW now because she’s still rolling out all this fashion porn and calling it too early might mean missing out on something spectacular. But there’s already been SO MUCH SPECTACLE. Never too much though, right? 

Let’s begin with this green print flouffy, frothy strapless dress, accessorised by two dogs: 

I love. I LIVE! Super into the way it’s been bustled in the front. And definitely into the way it’s been styled with the boots instead of with a delicate pair of sandals or any pair of shoes to show off leg. It’s already so pretty and feminine, you don’t have to take it over the top. Wearing the dress with boots gives it an almost equestrian feel. Like you could picture her riding around on a horse and all that material blowing in the wind. 

Next, please enjoy this shot of Celine booting around on a scooter – all of it is for a photo shoot so it’s not like she was actually transporting herself. But still, whoever came up with this concept deserves an award. And the studded belt around her neck is badass. 

Can we talk about this f-cking coat now? This camo print furry floor length drama with the combats over biker shorts? Again, HELP ME…because I can’t. I have expired. 

She’s not f-cking finished with us yet though. Here’s the look that precipitated a mass meltdown – it’s Celine in an Off-White bodysuit, with just a matching blazer over top. Gigi Hadid modelled this look on the runway but they sent her out with the blazer buttoned and closed:

All designers, every label, the city of Paris itself should be paying Celine for what she brings. She has become the heartbeat, the blood and the soul, of fashion week. Who else celebrates clothes like she does?!
