I know that Captain Marvel exists and Sarah is going to yell at us about her for months but last night at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, Chadwick Boseman was playing the role of Captain Marvel – like if Marvel was a football team, he’d be the captain. He’s the QB1. I think I just heard Sarah pop a blood vessel. I’ll stop trying to compare Chadwick and Captain Marvel. My point is that he is the main attraction. He is Black Panther, the current coolest Marvel superhero and even when there are other ones around, no one compares to Chadwick.

Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth were also at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. They both look fine. OK, Hemsworth looks better than fine. Hiddleston looks like he’s trying too hard, as per usual. Brand is strong.

Inside the awards, Tom and Chadwick were at the same table. Do you think Tom Hiddleston tried to do the Wakanda salute at Chadwick? This is totally something Tom Hiddleston would do. They were also sitting with Jeff Goldblum. Between Jeff and Chadwick, who are style icons and genuinely cool human beings, how do you think Hiddleston felt? I actually like Tom Hiddleston. I’m not trying to be an ass. It’s just that if you’re playing F-ck, Marry, Kill with these three, Hiddleston’s gotta go every time. Every time.

Chadwick posted on Instagram about the event and only mentioned his “friend” Chris Hemsworth. Chris returned the favour on Twitter. Poor Loki.

Chris presented Chadwick with the International Man award. I never understand the GQ Awards and I have no idea what winning “International Man” means but I’m happy it gave us a good Chadwick style moment. I love this tan suit. He looks like a casual Obama meets hot Coolio. I miss Chadwick’s style. If the Oscars don’t play themselves, we’ll be getting a lot more of Chadwick during awards season. I can’t wait.
