Dare I say Charli xcx is taking the biggest swings in pop music with her choices? And my vote for the best cover of the year, so far.

I don’t want to give anything away but I was absolutely delighted to see a recent Deidre Hall cameo on a very good TV show. Ryan Gosling’s florist did a great job, the box of roses is so overdone. These have style.

The headlines about Victoria Beckham commenting on Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham are a bit overblown. She says exactly what you’d expect her to say – she loves her children, she’s tried to protect them. There’s no deviation from Brand Beckham. It’s literally a profile to talk about her business, so why would there be.

Lainey wrote about the Martha Stewart biopic with Cate Blanchett to star and Janicza Bravo attached to direct. An absolute coup for Martha’s legacy, are you kidding me? The Oscar cache of Cate and the artistic eye of Janicza.

Forget the reviews because Euphoria is putting up big numbers for HBO. This is bolstered by a lot of promo (Zendaya is everywhere) but also, very little promo. The cast happens to be very famous now, but I have yet to read an actual interview with the actors really engaging with their characters choices or storylines. Creator and writer Sam Levinson did give an interview to Rolling Stone but it’s not very buzzy, considering how much attention is on the show. One thing fans have pushed back on is the fate of Angus Cloud’s character, but reading Levinson’s interview, I understand why he went that route. If not as a showrunner, then as a person.

I guess there’s a podcast-influencer war brewing between Alix Earle and Alex Cooper? Wake me up when it leaves the comment section. Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan used to crash each other’s movie premieres! We used to be a country etc.
