Dear Gossips,

Were you feeling it the last few days? The Beyoncé algorithm was extra activated on the weekend. Activated can only mean one thing: anticipation for act iii and the perceived signs that act iii might be on its way.

Right now the speculation is because of the photos that B posted from the premiere of Jay-Z in 8, the docuseries now streaming on HBO that happened a couple of weeks ago. She shared them on her website on Friday. This is still hilarious to me, that Beyoncé remains committed to her URL and often completely bypasses social media and keeps the exclusives to Beyonce.com. They say that no one visits websites anymore – and I object to this. Clearly, at least so far, so does the Queen of All Culture.

Back to the photos though and why the Hive is popping off. At the event, B wore a custom black bodysuit with a ruffle trim.

Beyoncé was actually in London after Jay’s premiere, to launch Cécred in the UK. It was a private party and footage of that event was actually posted before the pictures of her in the bodysuit.

It’s the bodysuit and her body in the bodysuit that’s driving the panic and the public service announcements. Justin Sylvester explains below.

We all know she’s been quietttttt. We never know what she’s doing, ever. Sometimes she’s quiet because she’s raising her babies and also on holiday. Sometimes she’s quiet because she’s about to change the culture, again. And as Justin and so many others have been saying the last few days, that body looks like it’s been in work mode. Rehearsal mode. Photo and video shoots.

Jay’s anniversary concerts and the docuseries have been the priority through the summer. He’ll play two more shows in LA later this month. And then, in theory, she can take over. If, that is, she really is cooking something. The timing tracks too. Renaissance, or act i, was released July 2022. Cowboy Carter, act ii, came out March 2024. If she’s spacing the full three act project two years apart, there’s not that much real estate left on the calendar for 2026.

Does the autumn snatching portend the imminent arrival of act iii? Maybe there’s a season for every act. Renaissance summer, Cowboy spring, and a Rock fall? Or, like, are we clowning. That tracks too, haha.
