These two are still happening huh.

Celebrity profiles are a dying breed so I can always appreciate when a superstar sits down with a proper magazine. The Rock on the cover of Esquire is meant to be just that – a deep dive into the man behind the wrestling moniker. But the thing with Dwayne Johnson is he is really, really good at being The Rock and he is really, really good at packaging the story he wants to tell into folksy anecdotes. He’s really, really good at telegraphing a kind of vulnerability while being in total control. He can be the person who says, “I’ve learned I’m going to keep my politics to myself” and who gives meaningless advice like, “I’ve always been an advocate for embracing big change—after taking a hard look at it,” he says. “We can either stick our heads in the sand and be afraid, or we can say, Okay, we’re here. Let’s see. Let’s explore.” It works really well for him.

When you’re right, you’re right.

Just me being nosy: Jessica Alba and Cash Warren’s oldest daughter Honor graduated from high school and both posted photo albums on their grids. But they aren’t in any photos together. Maybe the each took turns behind the camera? The divorce was finalized, including asset split in custody, in the spring.
