Apologies for beginning this post with some gushing. I don’t say this enough to the people who visit this site and reach out to me with insights, recommendations, or just to yell because I’m an asshole. I love how smart and resourceful and well gossip-researched you are. I love your gossip memories. And I’m saying this today because a reader called Marina, in response to my curiosity about how they met made an observation about Timothee Chalamet and Eiza Gonzalez that is…well… quite simply, it’s excellent.
Marina pointed to this article I posted back on February 11, 2020, two days after the most recent Oscars about Timmy at the Oscar parties. Timothee presented at the Oscars and then hit up the Vanity Fair after-party for his first stop where he hung out with the Little Women crew and Billie Eilish. According to WWD, though, he left with Camila Morrone and Hailey Bieber, but stopped at one point to ask Sara Foster, “Where’s Elizabeth?” To which Camila replied, “She’s too old for you”. (Seriously.)
Was it “Elizabeth” or was it “Eiza”? Marina wonders if someone could have misheard him say “Elizabeth” when he was really saying “Eiza”?
