Dua and Callum before the big one

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are already married, but this weekend is their big splashy celebrity wedding in Sicily. They’re already on the island, they were photographed yesterday at the Villa Igiea hotel. They look happy and blissed out, love that for them.

But what I really love is celebrity wedding dress fashion, and as Lainey previously wrote, it is rumored that Jacquemus is designing Dua’s dress. I really like, maybe even love, her white wedding suit from London last weekend, if that was her “town hall” look, I cannot wait to see the “blowout Italian estate wedding” look. Will she go big and dramatic, or sleek and elegant? Someone’s probably betting on this in a prediction market, but if I wanted to bet on prediction markets, I would just flush my money down my own toilet.

Given the paparazzi already swarming, we’ll probably get grainy photos of Dua’s dress, at least, if not an outright Insta post. I have basically given up on ever seeing Zendaya’s wedding dress. Two things can be true, I 100% respect her right to keep such a huge personal event private, and I also think Zendaya’s wedding dress would be a style moment like Grace Kelly’s wedding dress or Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s wedding dress. Zendaya’s wedding dress could probably move wedding style forward for everyone.

I don’t expect Dua Lipa’s wedding dress to be THAT big of a style moment, mainly because Dua has never had a style moment THAT big before. But I still look forward to seeing it. Also, how many dresses do we think she’ll have? Millie Bobby Brown got married in Italy two years ago and wore four different dresses. That’s the over-under: four. I’m taking the under, I think Dua will stick to three dresses. There’s no money on the line, but what’s your pick?
