Of course Jennifer Lawrence has a toilet story. And of course it’s coming up during her promotional tour for No Hard Feelings. 

In a new interview with PEOPLE, JLaw says that she once had a toilet that was broken so her mom offered to sell it for her. The toilet ended up on Craiglist and it was purchased by Lee Eisenberg who is the writing partner of Gene Stupnitsky who directed No Hard Feelings. 

 

I don’t know why anyone would want a famous person’s toilet. Not to be crass but I’m a huge Elvis fan and I wouldn’t even want his toilet…and if you know Elvis’s story, you know why I’m bringing him up in relation to a toilet. 

Anyway, the bigger point here is that it’s on-brand for JLaw because she’s the celebrity who always has a gross-out or weird, wacky anecdote and I’m not complaining because I like gross sh-t, I just wouldn’t buy a famous toilet and bring it home to take my own sh-ts on. 

Now let’s talk about the outfits. As covered the other day, Jennifer wore Dior to the London premiere and the dress was whatever, it was the accessories that made the look. It’s never all that exciting to me, JLaw in Dior, so I much prefer when she steps out in other brands. 

 

Here she is in The Row and I like how this set drapes and falls in the right places and how it plays with different lengths. It’s way more interesting than any Dior look she’s worn in years.

And the Loewe she wore for the Spanish premiere is probably the most interesting piece she’s worn in years:

I LOVE this on her, specifically because it’s not safe. This is not a dress that would appeal to the MiniVan Majority. And you can only really appreciate the unusual construction from the side and the back, because the sweetheart bustline that’s offset from her body is actually made possible by a corset underneath:

It’s a really cool design feature and, again, a lot more stylish than what we get from her in Dior, although I do wish there was more imagination in the shoe choice. A beige point-toe pump would have been better, even. But I really wish she would have just fully leaned into the weird and went with the Loewe comic balloon. Have you see these? They’re hilarious. And they would have completed her look.
