A warning for those of you who haven’t heard it yet – I’m sharing audio that has the potential to make you cringe so hard your muscles won’t unclench for at least an hour, proceed with caution. But first a brief introduction to those of you who are not from Canada.

“Canada down” is a trend that started with Tate McRae (maybe the only good thing she’s done this year) after she appeared in an American ad to promote the Olympics and Canadians were like… um… this is not a good look; which then prompted her to post a photo on Instagram from when she was a kid holding a Canadian flag with the caption: “Y’all know I’m Canada down.”

You don’t need to see the original post, you just need to know the words that inspired the meme. This is the one that sent me to my grave.

And now, three months later, which sounds about right, Katy Perry has entered the chat. She was apparently on a Stationhead livestream a couple of weeks ago but this part has been making the rounds online over the last few days. It’s how she reacts when she sees fans posting photos of JT in the comments. Here comes the audio I warned you about. Katy Perry isn’t just Canada down, she’s Canada down bad. For Justin Trudeau …or as she calls him…

Well, I’ll let you hear what she called him.

Trudaddy is a word I never want to hear again and I never want to type again but since I’ve had to live with it, you now have to live with it. Live with the fact that Katy Perry is getting Trudaddied so good she’s all horned out on the internet oversharing in climaxed vocals.

Wait, why am I complaining. These two are pure comedy, cringe comedy but there are worse things in the world than two equally corny people who have somehow found each other and can match each other’s cheesy freak. Katy Perry living her best Canada down life is better than Katy Perry the fake astronaut going to fake space for women’s rights.
