I have missed posting about Lewis Hamilton and am happy to return to posting about him now that it isn’t related to the movie. The British Grand Prix is this weekend so Lewis is at home at Silverstone where he won last year and where he holds the record for the most wins, with nine. This year it’s his first time in front of his home crowd in a Ferrari. So far his debut with Ferrari has been underwhelming as he and the team are still acclimating to each other. Lewis is not favoured to win this weekend but he also always brings something extra to this race. Which, of course, also applies to his fits.
He was saving his one – custom Burberry, so a British brand on the British track, and it looks like a Union Jack, right? Look at the way it sparkles when he moves.

SO good.
In other Lewis related news-ish, you know what I don’t talk enough about, which is surprising because it’s my worlds colliding? The friendship between Lewis and Rosé. Rosie was in Miami a few weeks ago with the checkered flag…
And she’s also on the movie soundtrack. And she and Lewis were so cute together at the Met Gala.

There’s probably nothing more to this, I wish there was, but last time I checked, Rosie was rumoured to be dating Evan Mock.
What else happened today…
About the movie, Lewis was talking about its success today during his interviews with the media and cautioned against rushing into a sequel. That’s really just a segue though – because what I really want to talk about his Angelica Jade Bastién’s new piece at Vulture about how “Brad Pitt is Fooling You”. It was Angelica who wrote, a few years ago, that Brad Pitt was the “most cunning” with his star image. And once again she points out how much he tries even though he tries to make it look like he doesn’t try.
Speaking of segues, Reddit is pondering historical events so wild that they’d be rejected as “too unrealistic” if it happened in a movie. And Jessie Wallace finds a great way to get there by invoking Kpop Demon Hunters. I’m telling you – everyone loves this movie! (Pajiba)
Andrew Scott in a cropped sleeveless top, which is what you didn’t know you needed. (Go Fug Yourself)
Tom Hardy sounds a lot more mellow now. (Celebitchy)
I mentioned yesterday that it’s Beef Week over at The Ringer and today’s beef content comes courtesy of Jodi Walker who’s reminiscing about when celebrities used to beef on Twitter – and Rihanna was probably the champion of that era. I totally forgot about when she flamed Ciara. Obviously I love them both, but that was a scorching! (The Ringer)
