The press tour for Kogonada’s A Big Bold Beautiful Journey continues, this time stopping in London. Colin Farrell showed up looking like a private eye in a trench coat, fitting right in with the premiere’s umbrella theme. Margot Robbie showed up in a backless, sheer, sparkly dress by Armani Prive.

They both look great—although why is Colin so orange?—but they do look like they are dressed for entirely different weather. Colin is prepared for rain, Margot looks like she’s hitting up a nightclub in Ibiza. Now I have to google the temperature in London just to see who is closer to the mark (Colin).

Colin has had a busy couple of weeks, bouncing between Journey’s press tour and Telluride and TIFF for Edward Berger’s new film, Ballad of a Small Player. While that film initially looked like a contender, largely based on Berger’s recent history with the Academy, unfortunately, the reception from both festivals has been decidedly muted. I don’t think Colin will be contending for an Oscar. Which means the Emmys this weekend is probably his last stop on the trophy trail for the time being. He’s still the favorite to win Outstanding Actor for a Limited Series or Movie, but I think it will be close with Adolescence’s Stephen Graham.

Margot, meanwhile, will next be seen in Wuthering Heights. That trailer dropping during TIFF was the gift that kept on giving as everyone tried to parse it. I maintain it’s for the sickos, but I have to say, after seeing Frankenstein, I am looking at Jacob Elordi with new eyes. I actually have Expectations of him now. We’ll see whether or not Frankenstein was a fluke.
